Common Questions
Can you file permits outside the DMV?
Yes. Our own team covers Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. directly, and we file in most other US jurisdictions through our partner network. The process is the same from your side: one point of contact, whatever the jurisdiction.
Do I need to be there in person?
No. Online permit filing is handled entirely remotely, including comment responses and resubmissions. Inspections still happen on site, but the permitting process itself does not require you to visit an office.
My portal submission was rejected. Can you fix it?
Usually, and quickly. A large share of portal rejections are procedural rather than substantive: wrong file format, missing worksheet, a document named in a way the system will not accept, an incomplete applicant record. Those are fixable without redesigning anything.
